I found a hard and thick sponge from storeroom, very good as base for knocking. I bought those colourful golf tees from Parkson, love the tees as these are light and colourful, nice for Debo to learn sorting colours. After knocking the tees on the sponge, Debo need to put the pom poms on top of the tees. This is fun playing while can help practise the young one hand-eye co ordination too.

CHORES

Debo likes to play water and she always volunteer to help me to watering the plants.

DOUGH

This week we had three bells together C, D, E, and play some music. I had to make sure Debo can handle it nicely, at least not knocking the bells before “release” all the bells for her to play. She play the bells nicely… is she start knowing to take care of her toys or because of her fiercely mum ??  ^_^

Since we had flash cards, so I just pasted these on the walls as collages.

Mini Chinese flash cards on letter G objects. Learning English and Chinese at the same time… haha.

We played matching the same after done spelling. Debo done it nicely. Well, actually she done this without my direction.

This week, we were learning music note of E (Mi). Please let me know whether there is any error, because I am totally zero in music area. Just try my best to teach some basic knowledge about music area.

We played grape and farmyard puzzles. I bought the My Farmyard floor puzzle during Popular bookstore offer, RM9.90 member price.

GEOGRAPHY 

 

Still doing the seven continents, seems been learning the same things again and again… am I too lazy….haha. Debo able to identify Africa and Asia, five more continents to go.

RIGHT BRAIN & FINE MOTOR SKILLS

  

Debo still trying to use the scissor but need people helping to hold the paper straight in order for her to cut it on. I guess this “baby scissor” is not easy to cut a paper, will try to look for another type of “toddler scissor” for her.

Another fine motor skill activity.

 MATHEMATIC

Our first number box. This week we started learning number one… ya, Debo can red few numbers now, but I think we should do some practises from the very begining … since we have these materials …haha ya, because I love letter & number boxes. ^_^

Learning the concepts of Big and Small by arranging the scoops from small to big, adding in Chinese flash cards too. Debo understand the concept of big and small, but she was more interested in stacking up the scoops.

Matching shapes with these lovely printout from here. Debo done it very well and able to call out: square, oval and star.

FREE PLAY

She loves this set of puzzle but she still unable to recognize the words yet. After I read the words to her, Debo able to identify the pictures and matched it herself.

Reading mini animals books and playing stacking up blocks.

 EXERCISE

Found an old textbook and is really fun for kids to learn exercise, at least Debo likes it and follows the pictures.

 

Letter G for grab. This week we were doing “GRAB the stars”, by pasting some stars on the door or wall and asked the kids to grab it by jumping. My little clever princess “complained” that the stars were too high for her and “REQUEST” me to get for her…
